Blitz Basics
· Entry - $20.00 cash.
· Non-members pay a guest green fee of $39.00 including tax in addition to entry.
· Members not on a cart plan pay the appropriate cart fee in addition to entry.
· Registration deadline is 30 minutes before play each day.
· Friday 1:00 start!
· Saturday 1:00 start!
· Sunday 9:00 start!
· Friday teams will be done by a random computer draw. Format will be a team Beaufort Style Points Stableford.(<click)
· Saturday format will be determined by the number of players signed up prior to play.
· Saturday teams and pairings will be done by a random computer draw.
· Sunday’s format will be a singles Beaufort Style Points Stableford. (<click)
· $10.00 of each players entry is used to pay the winners of each 9 holes. $5.00 per side.
· Skins-$5.00 of each players entry is used to pay out individual skins for the 18 hole round. Skins are scored using 50% of the players handicap.
· Hole in One(<click) -$1.00 of each players entry is added to the hole-in-one pool per round.
Closest to the Hole- $4.00 of each players entry is used to pay the players who are closest to the hole on all par 3’s. If a green is not hit by the field that hole’s money is added to the hole-in-one pool.
· Pairings– During a team event if there is an odd number of players that is not divisible, a blind draw will be used. The blind draw player is eligible to win both as the blind and on his own team.
· Everyone with a handicap is welcome to play. If you do not have a handicap a temporary one will be assigned. After 3 rounds at your temporary handicap you will have to establish an official handicap to participate in additional events. Please see a member of the professional staff to establish a handicap.
· Instant handicaps will be used for all play.
· You must notify the professional staff of the tees being played prior to teeing off. Your handicap will reflect the tees being played. Players playing from higher rated tees will receive the appropriate adjustment.
· USGA rules of golf govern all play.
